In the story, the kidnapper takes the girl to the island and locks her at the top of the lighthouse. Some shots was made on location in an abandoned lighthouse on an island in Lake Ladoga.

After filming on location, the decorators reproduced the top of the lighthouse in the film pavilion and the remaining shots, including the fall trick, were shot against the background of LED screens and the location assembled in the Unreal Engine.
